Volunteers are crucial to FDR’s mission. They are the muscle and heart that help power our work by offering vital assistance at events, transporting, fundraising and other daily duties using their unique individual skills.
Transportation
Our volunteers help with transport to and from shelters, vet clinics, events and more. Getting pets safely to where they need to be is a critical necessity.
Events
Volunteers help us with many tasks during our adoption events such as preparing setup, answering questions for potential adopters, caring for the animals during the event, passing out cards and flyers and helping with breakdown and clean up from the event.
Fundraising

Please note: FDR requires volunteers to be 18 years of age or older.

*Once your application is submitted, we will review it and be in touch within 72 hours to let you know if you’ve been approved! Upon approval there will be additional paperwork to sign that includes a liability release and volunteer agreement.
